The ETFC Recreational program is a volunteer led program for ages 4-8, designed to introduce players to the game of soccer. Our philosophy may differ than other local rec programs, as we feel for this age group games are gratuitous. We are most interested in introducing players to the game, establishing a love for the sport, and creating and nurturing a soccer community within ETFC. Therefore, our Rec Program is focused more on skill development and tactical awareness, which is best taught on the practice field. Games are played once/biweekly, with opportunities for building community throughout the season (i.e. Halloween Mini-Tournament).

All practices are held at ETFC fields: 280 Public Safety Lane, Clinton, TN

Practices are held Monday – Friday from wither 5:00-6:00 or 6:00-7:00 at the ETFC Field location.
As we make every effort to accommodate our volunteer coaches practice schedule requests and our families preferred practice schedule, we will not have practice schedules established until teams have been formed and assignments communicated.
We do our best to accommodate our coaches first as they are volunteering their time and often have busy schedules as well. We try to accommodate families’ practice conflicts, but make no guarantees.

Coaches:
Our recreational program is supported by parent and independent volunteers. The only requirement for volunteers is the enjoyment of working with children, and support of ETFC Organizational Pillars and Player Pillars.

Soccer experience is not a pre-requisite to coaching. All coaches are required to obtain a coaching license based on the age group coached through USYS, complete Sexual Abuse Training (SafeSport) and complete a Background Check.

We provide practice plans, outlines, and assistance for our coaches so they feel prepared, confident and successful as ETFC is just as committed to our Recreational Program as the families participating.
